Project Description

This tree house was built with safety in mind. The main platform was built with a floor joist system similar to a house. We also reinforced the platform with more support located every 90 degrees around the tree adding both rigidity to the platform and stability to the overall structure. Additionally, we bolted an another piece of lumber above to help support the weight of the roof and walls. The hand rails are held to the frame with lag bolts and connected together with “L” brackets to add additional support while the wire mesh is hog fence thats been installed into channels in the handrail lumber. Lastly all lumber used is cedar or pressure treated and has been painted/stained to the customer specifications to add color and a longer life to the tree house.
